Responsible for safely copying data from recorded media from the camera and sound recordings of the film to a computer for editing. This data is usually copied with redundancy. Setup Cameras and VTR station for interviews. Also catalog the copied media and keeping camera reports.

Preparing and operating the camera and all its equipment. Working with the Director and Director of Photography to achieve the visual style of the film. Managing other camera department staff and communicating with Actors.

Second Unit Director of Photography: Cover all supplementary photography, VFX Plates, Second unit photography and Stunts.

Creating the visual identity, or look, of the film. Working with the Director, camera crew and lighting department to achieve this. Managing all aspects of filming: from ordering and overseeing equipment to recces to reviewing footage.
