Developed, streamlined, and managed widespread Covid-19 safety protocols across Jigsaw Productions and Imagine Documentaries. Worked hand in hand with multiple production management teams to mitigate the Covid-19 risk on various productions, many occurring simultaneously. Vetted shoot plans for Network and Guild approval. Managed and hired testing vendors and Covid-19 Compliance teams. Kept in constant communication with Networks, Guilds, and Health Departments in order to stay up to date on advisories, protocols, and local restrictions. Solved travel and location hurdles related to Covid- 19.

Responsible for managing/tracking/finalizing and approving episode budgets for direct costs to Production, managing payroll/onboarding, overseeing production logistics, insurance matters, and serving as liaison between Production and Creative/HR/Post/Insurance.

Developed and managed widespread production protocols within the US and UK offices for VICE’s Emmy award-winning news and documentary programs: VICE on HBO (weekly series), VICE News Tonight (nightly series) and VICE Special Reports (300+ half-hour episodes). Supervised the production team, who managed crewing, gear, budgets, and travel logistics with my oversight, while I focused closely on security and risk management, legal and insurance matters, financial/legal/safety compliance, and shoot scheduling. Was responsible for the safety and security of multiple field teams filming simultaneously throughout multiple time zones. Over the course of my tenure at VICE Media we deployed crews to 100+ countries, including many conflict zones and hostile environments. In this role, I managed an in-house team of eight, as well as 50+ freelance crew members.

Was responsible for the safety and security of field teams, making sure team members got in/out of locations with ease, and stayed safe while on the ground. Oversaw a team of five in-house employees and 30+ freelance crew members. I also consulted on other high risk / international projects other departments in the Company were working on.
