Coordinate the flow of talent during the live award show ceremony.

Genealogical Research, Material Licensing, Booking guests and locations

• Cold call, book, & cast guests, including celebrities, to appear on the show; coordinate travel and accommodations in LA; screen and interview guests. • Manage and prepare guests and celebrities prior to their appearance on the show. Make arrangements for any after-care resources that Dr. Phil provides.

• Coordinate audience members and manage them as they arrive on location. • Separate regular audience members from selected VIP audience members and regulate according to seating arrangement. • Regulate the use of cellphones and other recording devices.

Coordinate the flow of performers, presenters, and guests after the red carpet and during the show.

• Cold call, book, & cast guests, including celebrities, to appear on the show; coordinate travel and accommodations in LA; screen and interview guests. • Manage and prepare guests and celebrities prior to their appearance on the show. Make arrangements for any after-care resources that Dr. Phil provides. • Develop (collect, draft, edit, and format) episodic Show Materials that is delivered to Dr. Phil and all departments involved on the show. Proofread and edit scripts and other documents relevant to the show. • Obtain all licensing rights for media content (photos, videos, & other forms of media) from original owners for the show. Cover all promotional consideration agreements.

• Research topics relevant to popular modern trends, news, and psychological breakthroughs. • Responsible for tracking each episode’s approved expenses and budget. • Create and coordinate graphics created in-house and used on the show. • Coordinate tape schedules with Segment Directors/Field Producers, organize and deliver tapes, and aid tape/shoots when necessary. Coordinate with talent, wardrobe, and hair/make-up departments to organize backstage logistics regarding guests for tape day.
