I ingested, sunk, and managed footage; created and managed project organization; assisted editors’ daily needs; assisted producers and our post supervisor with schedules and managing deadlines for editors; managed 2nd AEs and post PAs; collaborated creatively on a variety of scene edits; managed translation needs; executed and managed project turnover for third party vendors; and created music cue sheets and archival logs.

I ingested and sunk dailies, managed project organization and Avid troubleshooting, researched and managed stock media, executed and managed project turnover in collaboration with third party vendors, created music cue sheets for composers, and assisted in the creative editing process as needed.

I produced web content for two excellent food and travel websites—ExplorePartsUnknown.com and RoadsAndKingdoms.com. I shot and edited video and photography, produced social media videos, and wrote a few pieces on food and pop culture along the way.

I researched and acquired supplementary archival media as an archival producer on this feature film about death and dying. I worked as editor apprentice under Kris Liem, music supervisor, PA, and assistant camera operator.

I worked with the editor to create stringouts of selects and a paper edit. I managed transcoding of archival footage and the general maintenance of the project structure and organization.

From story ideation to the final edit, this was my first major documentary I produced while studying filmmaking as part of The New School Documentary Media Studies graduate program. I cultivated the story concept, researched various subjects and ultimately brought to fruition an ambitious documentary short about the the creative passions of indie pro wrestling performers. I recruited assistant cinematographers and sound recordists to assist me on various shoots, and ultimately, I edited a 20 minute film from 100 hours of raw footage.

I worked as a cinematographer on this observational documentary short exploring various aspects of a particular mobile psychiatric unit in Brooklyn, NY.

I volunteered for Wuqu' Kawoq, which is a healthcare NGO servicing Mayan populations of rural Guatemala. I worked in collaboration with the board to devise a shooting schedule during a week of volunteer doctor clinics held in different small villages throughout Guatemala. I independently shot observational footage, conducted interviews with the help of various translators, and edited the footage in Final Cut Pro with the assistance of Spanish and Kaqchikel translators.
