Alessandra S. Cunha

I wrote the shooting script for the feature film “Entre Nós” (Between Us), 2013, by Paulo Morelli. The job also consisted of building each character’s detailed story for the shooting.

Besides working on the production design and management of the workshop, I had the privilege to be present at all meetings as part of the team working on development of eight feature film projects from from Brazil and Italy that were tutored by selected professionals from both markets.

Co-instructor in Tabletop Moviemaking © during the Create and Share Youth Exchange, a partnership with the creator and founder of TabletopMedia LLC, Brick Maier, a former middle school Language Arts teacher in Los Angeles, currently based in Seattle.

I was invited by one a former Director from Zeppelin Filmes, Raphael Coutinho, to found the commercial production division at Estação Filmes in 2007 with him, where I remained as the main Assistant Director and Co-Director for almost two years.

Person in charge of production, assembling and supervision of artworks by over sixty artists, among them Iole de Freitas, Antonio Dias, Carlos Fajardo, Daniel Senise, Ernesto Neto, Nelson Felix, Siron Franco, Tunga and Waltercio Caldas.

Assistant Production Manager for commercial work in Brazil, which included working with different Brazilian directors for clients such as Tim Mobile, LG, Johnson & Johnson's, Cadbury-Adams, Petrobrás, Procter & Gamble. Among the international productions, I worked on commercial projects for clients located in Russia, Portugal and Italy.

Assistant Curator for Gustavo Spolidoro. In 2003, the festival paid homage to Rogério Sganzerla, influential Brazilian director and writer known for The Red Light Bandit (1968). CEN is now on its 12th edition and has also branched out to international markets.

The film was awarded in several Brazilian festivals and it was officially selected for many others around the world.
