Plan and support production of deals-focused show streamed live three days a week on Amazon.com's Today's Deals page and livestreams for major events (Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Back to School, Football Pre-Game) as well as taped productions and livestreams for other Amazon-internal departments (Amazon Music, ComiXology, Amazon Web Services) and third party brands on Amazon.com, Facebook Live, and YouTube. Manage logistics and transmission of live remote pieces both from the control room and in the field, help to build and oversee day-of production and ongoing studio schedules, assist production director and executive producer, and update web-based product carousel based on the show script, inventory/deal changes, and real-time sales data. Coordinate with various companies to create branded livestreams, for which I coach and mic talent, decorate the set, stage manage, frame cameras, manage graphic and video elements, direct using Wirecast and OBS Studio, and, after production, edit and upload to brands’ product detail pages. Operate Grass Valley cameras in both live and taped environments, most notably for six consecutive live hours on both Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Experience with playback (EVS), teleprompter (Autoscript), remotely controlled cameras (Ross Robotics), multiviewer design (Kaleido), and other studio equipment. Design and improve procedures to maintain efficiency of acquisition and return of high volumes of products to be featured during livestreams, supervise and train freelance production assistants, edit clips using Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere, manage media and storage with Avid Interplay, liaise between producers and engineers to ensure overall studio readiness.
