Ingesting, transcoding, overcutting, requesting media from production, assisting with changes for notes and prepping for finish

Runs to pick up equipment, crafty, lunch, coffee etc. Assist the Show coordinators with whatever is needed from logging lower thirds to moving office equipment and furniture to different suites. Dropping off packages and ensuring delivery.

Assisting Director with production

My main duty was managing traffic on-set, and I also handled some other administrative tasks, to keep the shoot running smoothly.

I was responsible for the slate. I also assisted with setting up camera equipment and lights to the DP's specifications.

Assisting the Director of Photography

As the Second Assistant Director, I ran the slate, helped dress the set, unloaded and loaded equipment and helped with crafty. There was no PA on set, so I had to fill in for that role as well.

I digitized footage for Duck Dynasty 8/9, Leah Remini 2 and Fat N’ Furious 2, capturing an average of 50-60 DVCPros and MiniDVs per week, into Avid. Before locked cuts were sent out, I would bring the resolution up to DNxHD 220X and 175X for 29.97fps and 23.98fps projects, respectively. In my time as a digitizer, I was even given the opportunity to cut a rough sizzle reel for the development team.
