Worked directly with Producer on three episodes of BET’s first true crime docu-series. Booked travel and accommodations for Producer, crew and myself. Transported production equipment and obtained meals/snacks for field shoots. Acted as primary contact for interview participants and organize interview logistics. Obtained, uploaded and organized legal releases on server and filed original copies of legal releases in deliverables binders. Performed research to support script annotations and Producer’s shots sheet. Researched case details using Lexis-Nexis and other resources. Submitted Public Records requests and FOIA requests for information related to court cases. Research, request and aquire any necessary film permits for field shoot. Reviewed stock footage options for editors and production teams. Identified and licensed news footage. Manage finances of field shoots within individual episode budgets provided by the program manager. Collaborated with Producer to create and distribute call sheets for field shoots. Conformed and annotated scripts from rough cut to final delivery, address legal notes from network in script, create and distribute narration script, time narration for post-production. Managed media, submitted footage and other primary materials for ingest. Supported two reenactment teams with casting descriptions and photos for principal roles and crime scene photos for recreation. Provided on-set support to Producer/Director to ensure interpretation was factual and within legal constraints. Deliverables: Log all interview and reenactment footage, Create deliverables templates and binders, Complete all required network deliverables.
