Supervised an office of four editors for an extremely busy political communications firm. Assisted in all stages of post-production of ads for TV, web and radio under immense time pressure for demanding, high-profile clients. Was responsible for tracking multiple spots concurrently through to delivery to exacting technical and aesthetic standards. Daily responsibilities included licensing stock footage and images; searching for and pulling fair-use footage; directing voice-over narration and radio spots; performing rigorous QC procedures to conform to broadcast and web/streaming standards before shipping spots; liaising with the company’s main office in Washington, DC; general research and support.
