Day-to-day tasks, such as keeping the supply closet stocked, updating the board of episodes in edit; creating and sending out DVDs of each aired episode to the Police Departments; keeping track of which episode and how many DVDs are sent out to the field offices and when they are shipped. Creating a Chyron List for the new episodes; forming final scripts of the new episodes. Creating and sending out transcription requests, handling raw interview footage.

Assisted the Operations Manager with the pre-production and post-production duties. Proficient with Chyron Lyric graphics and live-to-tape insertions. Post-production editing of shows; pre-production project set-up. Accomplished at standard skills and creative operations when appropriate.

Programing the daily show schedule for the network weeks in advance. Printing and distributing the nightly schedule for each Time Zone to the Directors, Assistant Directors and Technical Directors for the live feeds. Creating and adjusting the schedules for the Directors, Assistant Directors and Technical Directors for the month.

Entering the footage brought in from the field into the server; creating files detailing what is on each individual card; matching previous files with the corresponding card to ensure accuracy. Downloading CD’s containing police footage onto the server; moving previously downloaded material into the proper files; assisting the DIT with daily shipment of SD cards from the field.
