Managed a team of Producers, Production Coordinators, Field Producers, and Associated Producers running the daily tasks to ensure all production was being delivered on time and on budget. Created a new team workflow and management process for team deliverables for 10 productions. Liaised between Post-Production, Archive, Licensing (track costs and ensure licensing requirements are met), Legal, Finance, and Distribution requirements when applicable. Financial management: organized, managed, monitored, forecasted and implemented a budget; scheduled and staffed accordingly, and was responsible for escalating risks and concerns. Closely monitored production schedules from development to delivery, tracking project developments across the year. Oversaw all content produced in line with VMG’s Health & Safety rules & regulations. Prepared any contingencies during pre-production, filming, and post-production stages, and workable alternative plans alongside the Supervising Producer. Provided logistical support, arranged entry, managed locations, equipment supply, accommodations & transportation arrangements for our crew. Designed splinter unit to manage b-roll & archival footage, while overseeing & conducting main interviews regarding the band, culture, & legacy of HBCU’s. Captured imagery representing nature & feeling of HBCU’s, students, & marching bands. Initiated changes to script/questions based on interviewee research.
