Oversaw editorial content for the longest-running regional magazine in Louisiana. Directed a staff of 30 freelance writers and a two-man art/graphics department. Duties included assigning and editing content, designing the cover and inside pages and occasional writing.

Contributed to The Times-Picayune’s Pulitzer Prize winning Hurricane Katrina coverage, reporting on the evacuee housing situation throughout the Gulf Coast Region and the scene at the Baton Rouge triage facility.
