A documentary following Robert Van Gulik (1910-1967) who was perhaps one of the world’s most read authors in China from the Netherlands. Known for his detective novels starring Judge Dee, he was also a diplomat, artist and truly a unique individual who was able to capture and embrace the Asian culture. Shot throughout US and China. A Belgium production company known for documentaries and original programming.

Preproduction, supervising crews time and directing these 2 camera crew set ups with extensive traveling. Building fast relationships with 'talent' to work with their on camera performance. A festival award winning film . Casted actors, hired crew from casting director, Art Director, Grips, obtaining shooting permits, deciding on formats and gear, negotiating rates, securing locations. Shot opening sequence.

One for TV Guide (Granada TV) and one for the Trump Organization. Scouting locations, budgeting, crew hire, arrange shoot, and supervise post including VO.

NHK Cable TV series about unique entrepreneurs shot throughout the US. I interviewed CEOs, designers, inventors, business owners with unique products; whether it be an artists sculptor installed in an airport, industrial designer,alligator farmer or a computerized laser inventor able to show on the side of a mountain.

Producer/Director: extensive branding for Fortune 500 (Time Warner Music, Viacom, SonyTV ) commercials, corporate profiles, show opens, Responsibilities: client management, input meetings, budgeting, scripting, preproduction, (extensive interviewing celebrities and execs) managing editors & GFX design through delivery. Directing three camera studio and location shoots.

Created a series of commercials for AOL Summer Festival in NYC, along with a string of branding promos for each new version of AOL. I was sent to 6 countries directing shoots for each of these new foreign markets and returned to over see the post production.

Set up 6 cameras, hires, gear, and support crew, set up shot list and camera transportation across the state. Consulted on post production to completion. A bike race across the state of Massachusetts with a few thousand contestants followed by an elite team of experience documentarian cameramen who documented the race; showing the spirit of the 2 day bike race used to raise money for the Jimmy Funds for the Dana-Farber Research Lab to find a cure against cancer.

Worked on the pre recorded Day in the Life of a MD patient and family expose and live broadcast. Wrote lead ins for celebrity guest talent, supported directors vision during prep and during live control room broadcast, organized celebrity schedules.

A 3x45 situation Comedy shot on a sound stage 3 cameras on 4 sets. A cast of 15, crew of 30. Pre-production: budgeting script, casting, overseeing all set and crew hires (set deal memos). Edited and oversaw the post production of this 3 box set with mass distribution for Ford Motor Co.

A series of talk shows developed with various studios as partners in several shows. I was the conduit between my connections with various studios heads and production companies. The Atkins arena was developed as mainly a topical health show with highlighted guest and celebrities discussing their expertise on: food/nutrition, exercise for mind and body as an integrated organism; as well as hollywood trends. There were 3 other shows that were in development with known talent contracted for both TV and radio.

Went into NYC apartments and had an efficiency design expert show various how to maximize living areas and storage space. Various before and after shots with expert and home owner rearrange spaces. Directed and shot the segment.
