Supervised Social Impact Video creation from RFP to delivery. Videos are parent-facing educational shorts (docu-style, narrative & animation hybrids - sometimes with Muppets, en Español where necessary.) Topics range from grief to incarceration to learning through play.

Supervised all aspects of production on a short commissioned by Riverkeeper - a member-supported watchdog organization dedicated to defending the Hudson River and the drinking water supply of nine million NYC and Hudson Valley residents. Supported TFI Film Fellow DP's, producers and editors. Interfaced with client and execs. Approved story-lines, budgets. Supervised all interviews and field shoots on the Hudson from Brooklyn to Troy. Thrilled to see the film screen at the organization's 50th Anniversary Gala which raised over $1.6 million dollars in one evening.

Supervised production of four info-doc videos which describe and promote a new method of teaching history in classrooms in New York State. Supported TFI Film Fellows - DP's, Producers, Directors and Editors from concept to completion. Liaised with clients. Supervised multiple location shoots at schools throughout NYC and upstate. Oversaw the edit. Helped a few social studies teachers rethink and re-vamp their process.

Produced a series of drug & violence prevention videos for The US State Department, The US Embassy in Nicaragua & University of Tennessee. Met with sociologists/academics, wrote scripts based on research. Supervised budget, scheduling & production in Managua. Casted & directed non-actor teens, supervised edit in Mexico & NYC. Ate LOTS of GalloPinto.

Conceived, produced & directed an improvised comedy web-series about a MILF & her single BFF surviving in NYC. Scouted & secured talent at Upright Citizens Brigade and The People's Improv Theater. Hired crew, directed all shoots & supervised edit. Released a four episode mini-pilot with interstitials on YouTube. Laughed my ass off on set.

Supervised production of a whiteboard animation about midwifery in Mexico. Via fast-motion illustration and voice-over narration, the video explores the historical and contemporary context of midwifery, stressing the untapped potential of incorporating professional midwifery into already existing medical infrastructures. Wrote final script, contracted all digital producers and supervised the edit.

Directed a 4 camera, 18 person crew as we followed comedian and mom Andrea Rosen at The Big Apple Circus. Conceived ideas with EP's. Worked w/ Cinematographers to create a new look for a new season. Prepped story-lines & scenes. Wrote outlines & field notes. Supervised edit. Learned how to walk a tightrope!

Supervised multiple shoots for a doc about Low Riders in the Bronx. Shot interviews & verité in tattoo parlors, flats, at Low Rider & tattoo events. Pitched at Latin Side of the Doc in Mexico City, won Best Pitch. Finalized deal w/ NatGeo Latino for a 43 minute one-off. Perfected my Mexican slang.
