Managed travel complications, due to weather, with our internal travel mgmt team to ensure all 70 travelers made it into town before call time.

Oversee the Studio Operations of Amazon’s “Daily Deals” Live Stream show. This consisted of hiring and managing a full studio crew along with processing payroll and payment. Manage talent schedule, which can be up to 5 hosts in one day. Work hand in hand with our product inventory manager to ensure we have received, tested and properly return all “Daily Deal” products for each segment. Track all financial expenses for each show and actualize against that shows budget budget. Ensure creative is being executed, visually and editorially, based on scripts and run downs. Work hand in hand with engineering on tech work flows and equipment maintenance.

CREATIVE LEADERSHIP: Conceptualized and executed multi-platform content strategy for MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Logo and Spike. Personally own and provide direction for branded content, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Facebook Live Shows, Snapchat franchises, YouTube series, sponsored videos, 360 video and marketing videos that support each network’s diverse audience demographics and unique programming needs. Developed and executed MTV’s Digital Content Studio plan, Viacom’s first-of-its-kind incubator for digital content. Created inaugural organizational structure and subsequent $10M budget, presented plan to senior leadership and obtained organizational buy-in. STAFF & ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP: Recruited, hired, trained and led production management team (20+ direct & indirect reports) in the execution of 10+ productions per week across all of Viacom’s Music & Entertainment group. FINANCIAL LEADERSHIP: Creatively designed, monitored and reported on a $20M+ annual budget. Partnered with senior leadership to seek out both creative revenue generating opportunities and cost saving opportunities.

PRODUCTION LEADERSHIP: Directed upwards of 40 productions per month for MTV, including complex, internationally recognized ones such as the Video Music Awards, MTV Movie Awards, VH1 Divas and VH1 Hip Hop Honors. Led a high-performing production team of 15+ direct and indirect reports, as well as managed complex relationships with external production contractors and vendors. Initiated deals and partnerships with music venues for monthly productions. Partnered with senior leadership to streamline production and sponsorship processes, including… Successfully creating a video production process to streamline the greenlighting process. Introducing updated sponsorship parameters for clients such as Honda, Wrigley’s and Pizza Hut. Establishing a formalized process for all digital content for AFTRA/WGA/DGA contracts.
