• Writing and editing opening and closing segments for the show, including creating promos for the network and social media • Working with the director, producer, and overall creative team to discuss the show flow and determining how to create extraordinary, engaging content within a limited budget • In production, communicating the schedule and logistics to the crew and supervising all production assistants and interns to reach full productivity on the set

-Responsible for intensive research, fact checking, logging, transcribing and other administrative tasks. -Assist the producers throughout the preproduction and production stages of CNN Heroes packages. -Attend weekly department meetings and pitch ideas related to social media pieces. -Familiar with Newsapps and iNews

-Pulling and editing pre-recorded pieces (including VOs, SOTs, and banners) for the show. -Researching, fact-checking, writing segments and pitching new stories. -Providing general assistance to the producer, production assistant and on the set. -Greeting on-air guests. -Working extensively with iNews and Ardome
