Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jenn Barlow and I am an Emmy-Award Winning Video Executive Producer. I pride myself in thinking outside-the-box, and being a social media monster, as well as working collaboratively with my creative team and coming up with compelling original video content that is both high-quality and often times under budget and earlier than the proposed timeline. Managing Producer who developed and created the nationally airing and Emmy-nominated, 30-minute television series, Boys Toys, who’s season’s 1-3 can still be seen in 65 million homes nationally. ♣ Produced, wrote and hosted all areas of production including: the initial pitch, production coordination, field- production, on-camera hosting, post-production offline edits, and promos, for the television series, Boys Toys. ♣ Broke previous set network Rentrak ratings, received a 6 rating, the previously highest rating was a 1.2 ♣ Responsible for producing all areas of production for over 200 other television shows including: Vicarious Escapes, Full Throttle, Wealth International News, What to Wear, and Behind the Name. ♣ Conversant and capable in all areas of production for hard-hitting and highly-successful network documentaries: Titanic: Voices from Beneath, and Marijuana, Miracle Cure. ♣ Five of my created television series earned Emmy nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. ♣ Work with Finance, Legal, Creative, Engineering, Post & external production teams on establishing key production schedules and workflows and maximizing budget to spend as much on screen as possible. ♣ Ability to clearly and thoughtfully articulate feedback on projects for internal and external audiences ♣ Work with Showrunners, EICs and Line Producers to prepare and vet show budgets and schedules, providing feedback internally and externally on viability and risks.  ♣ Collaborate with internal and external teams to lock budget ♣ Track & manage all post related costs, keeping stakeholders apprised of status ♣ Update cost reports and trackers on a weekly basis

Morning Producer for previously rated #1 News Station in Los Angeles ♣ Wrote morning traffic reports for the 4:30-7am newscasts. ♣ Coordinated with traffic team and created incident mattes and locator lower thirds for live helicopter reports and assembled archive video footage to be used in the various news segments.  ♣ Generated all maps to be used in live, daily traffic reports or other breaking news stories. ♣ Field Produced and assisted with story development for various red carpets & entertainment news packages, The Las Vegas OJ Simpson Trail, the May Day Melee, So Cal Wildfires and more. ♣ Involved in Pre-Production and Post Production of the 2006-2009 Academy Awards.
