● Monitor press daily for breaking news in a variety of social issues, i.e gun violence, mass incarceration, etc. as well as find relevant links to trends in Brave New Film’s current and past films. ● Conduct research for short films/campaigns, produce corresponding reports/briefs and write/submit pitches. ● Research and contact top academic minds for upcoming films to guide framing, outreach and collaboration. ● Build extensive lists of community/student organizations/groups for film distribution and potential partnerships, correspond with them to plan and promote screenings and finally, facilitate the actual event. ● Provide feedback from outreach efforts and bring forth ideas for future groups, framing and script revision. ● Manage media (I.e video clips, audio, etc) on BNF sever.

-Responsible for office maintenance, event and program management of acclaimed, 150,000 sq. foot commercial production studio. -First “point of contact” for visiting clients and guests, ensuring a kind, professional welcome and accommodating all of their needs. -In charge of corporate calendar management, including scheduling meetings for staff members and clients. -Answer, direct & transfer calls to and from all departments, including staff/clients in East and West coast branches. -Successfully manage a host of in-office/off-site tasks for studio owners and producers, adhering to strict deadlines. -Efficiently managed massive estate sale of a wide variety of studio props/equipment, hiring security, assisting guests, managing sales, acted as a liaison for multiple organizations to pick up donations, delivered tax forms and timecards to CPA, etc.

"6 poets address socioeconomic issues, gang violence and the emotional distress that plagues inner city Chicago through the art of spoken word." -Created series idea, went on to collaborate with an all-female production team to create a six-part series to facilitate therapeutic, creative expression, stemming from pain and tragedy. -Selected film for: Oak Park (IL) International Film Festival, Chicago International Social Change Film Festival & Black Harvest Film Festival. -Recruited and managed featured artists, additional cast and crew, alongside director, cinematographer and location scout. -Effectively executed the creative design process of each poet’s film piece. -Successfully managed budget, production schedules, release forms, etc. -Responsible for project’s social media initiatives, apparel/merchandise production, outside organizations/collaboration outreach, etc. -Continues to submit series to a wide array of international and national film festivals, handling all responsibilities required for submission.

-Created daily lesson plans and successfully taught class of 20 students multi-faceted elements of creative media, i.e.: photo composition, vocal instruction, creative writing, audio, camera operation, Final Cut Pro, Mac software, mentoring, etc. -Assisted during “#NoFilter” film screening, March 2014, i.e. greeting, managing sign –in, directing attendees, answering questions, etc. -Actively participated as a panel guest speaker for a number of advanced student film screenings.
