Interned under casting director Avy Kaufman for new feature directed by Andrew Lau. Main task included reaching out to Chinese communities and trying to discover new talents. Helped out with open casting in Chinatown.

• Assisted with translating Chinese transcripts into English • Assisted with pulling selects and responsible for subtitling interviews as well as vérité footage • Responsible for fine-tuning selected sequences including subtitle adjustments, sound level check, and color corrections • Looked for radio soundbites and potential soundtracks to be used in the film

• Researched independent movie theaters as well as alternative movie venues in major U.S. cities for distribution • Compiled a comprehensive database of contact and submission information for each theater and venue • Reached out via phone calls and emails to theater booking agents, film programmers, and theater managers

Wrote and directed a short film that was shot on super 16mm film. The film has been accepted to festivals including the Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and the Asian American International Film Festival.

Wrote and directed a short film with a budget of $7000. The film was shot on Red One and has been accepted to numerous film festivals including the NYC Short Film Festival and the Manhattan Short Film Festival.

• Responsible for logging, organizing, and digitizing footage for various sports productions • Prepared and secured filming and audio equipments for multiple productions • Worked as PA on numerous sports productions including the Hurley U.S. Open Surfing; tasks included laying out cables, setting up cameras, keeping logs, and running errands
