I developed a one hour historical drama and have created two films to serve as a proof of concept for the series. I was the writer, director, producer and editor. As producer I raised funds by running an online campaign and secured fiscal sponsorship from FilmNorth (IFP North), I secured the historical location - the James J. Hill house for the shoot, hired cast & crew and located historical costumes for over 25 cast. I then story boarded the film and directed a large cast & crew of 50+. I was lead editor as well as post supervisor taking the film through the sound design, sound editing, final mix, color correction and online. I also worked with an award winning composer on the score. Master Servant has gone on to win many awards and to show at many festivals. Due to Covid 19 many festivals were virtual. Highlights include being curated by Film Fatales for their show at the Walker Art Center - Women with Vision; Then and Now. We will play this month at the premiere film festival of the Barrymore Film Center.
