I produced, shot and edited digital shorts that garnered close to 70 million views for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. A video journalist/preditor by trade I would pitch a concept, develop then shoot and edit the piece from start to finish. During the primaries I followed Hillary Clinton as part of a traveling party, documenting her rallies, meetings, and behind-the-scenes moments.

Supervised production of original digital video, building an international network of freelance video journalists, producers and production companies for assignments; then guiding all videos from start to finish and through approvals, signing off on quality and editorial standards. Produced, shot and edited my own mini docs as part of the offering in addition to the supervisory role.

Launched and managed original digital video series with six full-time and freelance staff, immediately earning as much traffic as prior staff that was double in number.

Managed department budget, hiring project employees, interns and freelancers as needed. Built small corporate video studio. Purchased, managed and replenished department equipment. With tech team, developed new video players and aided in site redesigns. Created performance reports with recommendations to improve traffic and user experience. Developed animated Newsweek graphics package with After Effects freelancers. Created original Newsweek videos as shooter, producer and editor or video journalist.
