Juan Avella

Writer's room intern. Assisted the writers, office PA and Showrunner's assistant in administrative duties such as collating scripts, photocopies, phones, doing runs, cleaning, stocking crafty, and helping maintain the office.

Wrote and produced between 20 to 25 episodes. I wrote stories and supervised editors, crew and PA all the way from pre-production through post. I was also in charge of field work, such as locating stories and events and coordinating celebrity interviews for the Host.

Wrote and field produced the 2011 Barranquilla episode. Traveled from Caracas, Venezuela to the location of Barranquilla, Colombia with Host and crew. I coordinated stories, transportation and part of the budget. At the same time, I structured the episode and wrote each act, supervising editors all the way through post.

Wrote the in's and out's of the "E! Special: Calendario Pirelli," as well as directed the Host as she performed them.

From raw material gotten from press junkets and EPK, I structured and wrote a special episode based on the 2011 feature film "Burlesque", starring Cher and Christina Aguilera. I also supervised the editors all the way through post.

Wrote and produced 26 episodes as well as supervised editors, crew and PA from pre-production through post. I was also in charge of field work, such as coordinating stories and celebrity interviews, as well as covering news on public and private entertainment events.
