I was the Key PA, primarily assisted the 1st AD and Production to keep us on schedule.

A majority of the time I policed extras, kept the Paparazzi in check, and guided traffic. Although those were my primary tasks, the standard PA jobs also presented themselves from time to time: trash sweeps, carrying heavy items, and just overall trying to keep every department pleased.

Being one of two PA's for one day, and the only one on another, I essentially was an assistant to every department: Wrangled talent, assisted art, assisted the Dolly grip, etc.

Although I was brought on as PA, I was assigned to be a Logger/Camera PA. I took notes of all the contestants before and after they performed for the judges. I also kept track of all discs used for the Camera and various other Camera needs.

I helped wrangle and check in Dancers that auditioned for the show.

Mostly, I transported crew to and from set in a Passenger van. And very soon, I will be driving a Box Truck cross country. My other duties included but were not limited to, assisting Camera and G&E, keeping crafty stocked, and assisting with various paperwork in the P.O.

Set up crafty, transport crew/talent, drive 5 ton trucks, and whatever else was needed to make the Production happen.

My tasks ranged anywhere from transporting crew, distributing call sheets, monitoring the cell towers, and in any job requiring lots of physical labor. In addition, my technical skills were called upon frequently and I would help assist Camera (SONY F800/EX3), Lighting, and Art.

Being the local hire, I primarily did a lot of driving for the Production, such as picking up meals and taking parcels to Fedex. There were also times when my technical skills were called upon, and I would help with the Camera, Grip/Electric, and Art Department needs.

I was a Production Assistant, but mostly worked in the Art Department. We built sets heavily inspired by Lewis Carol's "Alice in Wonderland". Every so often, my technical skills were needed and I helped with the Camera and Grip/Electric Departments.

I helped to provide materials and do what was necessary to ensure the Film's success. One of the more pivotal requirements I fulfilled was searching for, and securing, the various locations that the Production required.

I directed this Film with the intention of honing my creative and technical skills, and to prove my credibility as a Writer and Director.

Having had so much experience acting in front of the Camera, I was asked by the Director if I could help her find and choose the cast for her Production. Aside from this, I searched for, and secured, the various locations that the Film required.

Although I was brought on as a Driver, initially, there were often times when I was needed on set as well. My driving duties were mostly taking actors/crew to and from set, drop offs/pick ups at the Airport, and whatever else the Production Coordinator may need.

This was my Senior Thesis film, proving to the Department heads that I am adequate and learned in Film Production. It was awarded the Best Cinematography award in the OCU Film Festival.

As the boom operator, I worked with the Sound Mixer in finding the best way to record the Actor's dialogue, and various other Production-Sounds. Sometimes the best option for us would require us to be in the shot, so we had to creatively find ways of getting around this.

This being my first film, my duties were relatively simple, as much was not expected from me. I proved to be a fast learner and quickly became more involved on set. I helped keep talent happy, ran errands for the stunt team, and was alert and ready at all times.
