David Rickels is a professional Mixed Martial Artist for Bellator MMA at Viacom. My role with David Rickels was exclusively creating his promotional materials in conjunction with upcoming fights and Bellator promotions. I increased ticket sales increased from activations for video commercials and viral digital content. Achieved nominations into film festivals with “Evolve or Die” short documentary Raised global awareness of David Rickels with ”Beware Caveman” documentary that was purchased and internationally distributed by Ananda Media.

This a multi part Documentary series I developed following the life of Bellator MMA star Dave " the Caveman" Rickels from fight to fight as he chases the Bellator Lightweight Championship belt. I produce, shoot and edit this production as we have released single short films along the way. Beware Caveman, Caveman Evolved, Evolve or Die, and Four Horsemen have all been released as short films during the development of this production.

Shattered Glass Films EP Naythan Smith produced a music video for Dusty Grant's single "the Jester" as a mashup video and mini-documentary over the professional MMA fighter Cody Carrillo. I shot, organized, and archived the fight footage in association with the montage scenes that appear throughout the video.

Documentary series about Wichita urban music scene in which I directed, shot and edited. Acquired financial backing and served as art director for promotional content.

A short narrative film directed by Nate Jones of America's Front Porch Film Co. "First Day" Sound and Boom operator for film. Also supplemented as additional on-screen talent. As supplemental material produced and shot behind the scenes and "making of" content for the film.

Creating video content for the EFC organization. Cageside is a Reality Series to show the development of a fight as well as the fight itself with high drama and production that allows the audience behind the scenes . My role is to produce, shoot, and edit the series.

As Creative Director for EFC, my role consisted of producing visual content for the promotions quarterly broadcasted MMA events. The task included shooting, editing, and organizing video packages for fighter introductions, vignettes that showcase throughout the night and producing the web series “Cageside” a cinematic presentation of the event behind the scenes and in-cage fight coverage.

Directed and Produced an award-winning documentary and book about Amancha Coon, a Winfield girl whose life was spiraling out of control due to drug addiction. With her preferred drug of choice being meth she was a ticking time bomb before she would get one final chance to get it right. The documentary went on to be nominated at several film festivals with 3 wins including an audience choice award and the book sold over 1000 copies as well as picked up as part of the curriculum for a social work class at university. The book is currently in development for second edition update with audio option as well.
