As the Associate Producer for Daily VICE, I pitch and produce short docs, perform research, coordinate releases and other internal logistics, as well as directed voice overs and host throws. I also write editorial pieces across VICE verticals such as Sports, Motherboard, Broadly, Tonic, and VICE.com as companions to the the short docs.

Work with casting department to select models with the most compelling backstory and personalities for on screen narratives. Write scripts, develop challenge competitions, narrative and questions, weave in product placement to segments, coach and prepare models before taping to 'shape the drama', interview models during confessionals, paper edit best clips for final cut, and work with segment producers to maximize a congruent story line.

Researched and identified subjects for 3-6 minute short docs, for both domestic and international shows. Developed relationships and interviewed subjects to draw out most compelling storylines. Took notes during shoots to capture best sound bites, compiled paper edits and worked with editors on rough cuts.

As the Associate Producer for the Early Today show and First Look, I am involved in almost every aspect of production. I research and pitch stories, write scripts, run graphics, and cut tape. My time with the Early Today team has given me invaluable experience in working quickly and effective in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines to produce compelling content with integrity.

Greeted audience members, managed waiting rooms, ensured audience was wearing clothing appropriate onset, guided members to sections, monitored sections during tapings, attented to any breakdowns, checked out audience members and ensured all forms were signed before taping and departure.

Coordinator 900 person audience during long tapings of the first season of the revival of American Gladiators. Supervised seating sections, kept the audience entertained during breaks, cast the 'Gladiator Girls' and attended to any costume needs for the team. This position required being flexible during major breakdowns, including finding people to fill the seats during late-night tapings, rescheduling the audience when the set closed during an emergency, and other last minute changes.

Assigned to the Queen Bee Dancers and their coach, Dean McFlicker while they trained and learned routines. Coordinated logistics for their transport during training. Supported them with any on-set needs.

Assisted Producers in notating answers to questions and contestant responses during taping. Was assigned to contestants with logistical needs, such as transport, housing, and other logistical needs before and after taping.
