I recruited contractors for the season and worked with the casting & scout teams to complete walkthroughs with homeowners. I then worked with the contractors to complete scopes of work estimates and met with the show runner & homeowners to hammer out a deal that worked within their budget and the show. Once casting was completed, I had to oversee 4 contractors for 10 different homes with budgets ranging from $120,000 - $340,000. I also supervised a construction coordinator who I gave the responsibilities of getting weekly updates from contractors on their progress so that we could keep creative informed as to what would be available to shoot the coming week.

My responsibilities included overseeing the completion of 18 renovation projects, 6 residential remodels, 6 commercial remodels and 6 community projects. I bridged the communication gap between construction, production, creative and design departments. I tracked milestone completions for each project using scopes of work trackers and communicated with the general contractor to get milestone start dates so that creative could plan their daily/weekly shooting schedules. I created relationships with local businesses and contractors to assist the general contractor with finding locals subs. I coordinate a daily catch-up call for all departments with the GC to get construction updates for the day and the week. I tracked budget expenses for all 18 projects to ensure we were staying within budget or to alert production the we are in danger of going over budget. I made daily visits to all jobsites to ensure construction was staying on schedule and to ensure no steps were missed or skipped. I oversaw a a construction coordinator and a special builds staff carpenter. I coordinated with vendors to supply boom & scissor lift systems and landscaping & materials deliveries.

I secured housing for 15 production, crew and creative personnel. I negotiated rental agreements, rented furniture fo several units & purchased furnishings. I negotiated contracts with 2 hotels to house crew & talent ranging anywhere from 5 people to 25 people every week. I established utilities and was responsible for the accounting for all housing. I was also responsible for booking flights and rental cars for 15-25 people weekly.
