Michael Marchetti

I work as a Creative Director on an upcoming multimedia project titled "Bone Harvest." My responsibilities include forming a comprehensive business plan for the project, helping to set goals and budget deadlines. I also have a creative role in ghost writing and editing for the novel portion of the project.

I acted as Art Director during production of "Phaesporia," directed by Carmen Spotto. Given the size and scale of the project I ended up fulfilling multiple roles, including buyer, set dressing, and property.

I assumed the role of Key Office Production Assistant on a locally produced Documentary series. While there I assisted the Producers in handling various managerial tasks. I also stepped in as a Set PA when needed.

I stepped in as last minute Art Director for "Deadly Gamble." I became essentially a one man Art Department where I helped assist continuity, dressed the sets, handled the props, and managed the live weapons that appeared on set.

I was an on set production assistant for a pilot titled "Get Trucked." I helped coordinate the day with the AD and Producer. Additionally I was tasked with finding interesting candidates for interviews.

As Producer for Crystal Shattuck's "Real Estate," I helped handle location, scheduling, and budget. The film shot on location in York, PA, and went on to be nominated for the Frese Award for best narrative short.

I wrote, directed, and produced a 25 minute short titled "The Hypnotist." The short follows the relationship between Phoebe, a traveling firebreather and Marius, a mysterious hypnotist in an isolated beach town. The Hypnotist is a story of redemption set in a magically fantastic world.
