Equipment and software: -Ross Carbonite Switchboard -Ross XPression for CG -ENPS -TVU (adding feeds to the grid, and managing 3 receivers+backpacks) -BitCentral -Airboss Master Control -Stream Deck During show: -Maintain cohesive and clean newscast according to rundown, and organize to best of availability while communicating clearly if breaking news occurs. -Call cues to audio op, camera op, and cg op. -Simultaneously switch through 2 video playouts, 3 cameras, roll opens and sync gfx channels when needed, continuously communicate and keep the team on track for the entirety of the 2.5 hour newscast. Constantly monitor the time, and give cues to appropriate talent (Weather, 2 anchors, 1 morning reporter+photog) Preshow: -Create graphics in ENPS: OTS, Monitor GFX, look over Lower 3rds and Fullscreens -Photoshop and create maps for stories if necessary -Add and manage placeholders for video -Review camera movements and logistics -Additional requests made by producers Post Show: -Bring thoughts, solutions, and comments to post show meeting with anchors and producers. -Meet with engineers regarding equipment/updates/etc. -Direct live cutins during GMA by following the network and master control logs, give cues to talent, live switch, flip teleprompter, turn on mics, and run gfx. -Prep for Midday newscast
