I served as DIT and logged and processed the footage as it was coming out of the camera live on set. Often times he would have full scenes assembled and ready to show us the very next day of shooting. While on set, I synced video with multi audio tracks and a preparation for editing. The Director had a tight schedule after Principal Photography so I had to be very efficient.
