Responsible for finding homeless or at-risk musicians and maintaining contact; assisting with coordinating film shoots; location scouting; and delegating to the intern.

Responsible for field and visual research, logistical coordination of travel, film shoots, and some post production for award winning director John Kastner. Entrusted to maintain contact with the characters (forensic mental health patients), families, victims, and hospital staff of an institution that rarely allows media access, requiring excellent people skills.

Assisted the director in story development, while researching the behind-the-scenes lives of patients and staff at a forensic mental health institution. Maintained close contact with the characters, in a world normally closed off to outsiders. Assisted with production and post production needs, including coordinating film shoots, travel, and visual research.

Researched story development and potential characters; responsible for travel logistics, film releases and the budget in advance of filming, and on location in the Philippines in April 2011. Filmed a short documentary with a four-person crew on a tight schedule with limited money.

Generated story ideas; tracked down people and documents; conducted pre-interviews; prepared research packages and questions for producers; fact checked script; and filed Access to Information requests.
