Starting as a freelancer, I wrote articles for Billboard Magazine's digital website, which eventually lead to a spring internship. During that tenure, I wrote features and reported on relevant pop culture, which was turned into digital news content focusing on the likes of Beyoncé, JAY-Z, and Rihanna. My portfolio includes an interview with Tee Grizzley, which ended up in the June 3, 2017 print edition. After my internship, I continued writing as a freelancer for the company's hip hop, pop, and Pride columns.
