Summary

After receiving my BFA in Film, I began working with film festivals which has only increased my desire to work in the industry. I am looking to build a career in film production as well as festival programming.

Associate Venue Manager

I conducted ongoing communication with the venue owners, internal stakeholders, corporate sponsors and vendors to keep all parties up-to-date on venue planning, programming schedules and logistical needs. I designed venue space including electrical, signage, equipment, furniture and evacuation plans. I created schedule, training materials and ensured evaluations are completed for 16 venue volunteers. I provided general supervision and leadership during setup, operations and tear down. I tracked projected and actual expenses of venue budget. Provides support to associate director on other aspects of budget and expenses as requested. I maintained inventory, pre and post Festival, of all furniture and equipment used. I managed the venue deliveries and inventory returns. I performed walkthroughs pre and post Festival with the venue owner and Park City's fire department to ensure venue is ready for public opening and to ensure venue is returned to original setup. Production Coordinator

I ordered and tracked all of the production department purchases. Researched purchases for the most economical methods or vendors for purchase. I maintained the Purchase Order Database for production department. I became a point person for questions and information regarding database maintenance, policy and procedure. I assisted in administering contractual agreements with the Chief of Staff and Production Manager. I collaborated with the festival’s Executive Director and Bookkeeper to keep the production department on budget. I administered the distribution and retrieval of keys to various spaces including theaters, offices and warehouses and maintained an accountability system. Finally, I assisted departments outside of Production with acquiring resources necessary for proper operation (including Headquarters, Film Shipping & Inspection, Concessions, Theater Operations, Events and Development).

Crew Coordinator

I reviewed applications, interviewed and hired the department’s supplemental staff. I assisted with daily communications, including email blasts and correspondence. I also managed the Shiftboard software, developed user guides, met and trained staff on the software and acted as the point of contact for all that utilized the software.

Festival Assistant Coordinator - Ticketing Attendance & Logistics

I was the Administrative Assistant to the Associate Director of Ticketing & Customer Service and Internal Ticketing Department liaison for Student and Community Outreach and Contractors. I administered fulfillment of Non-for-Profit Giveaways that are not standard ticket packages. During the festival, I tracked and reported festival attendance for ticketed screenings.

Production Assistant (Credentials)

I managed the credential check-in of event staff and confirmed arrivals with producers. I would also notify the appropriate department leads in the event someone not on the list arrives. I updated and maintained the excel spreadsheet with additional cleared names and also handled the receiving of UPS/Fed-Ex deliveries.

Screenings Crew Coordinator

I was the primary contact and scheduling administrator for over 400 entry-level crew assigned to the festival's Screenings department. I acted as a liaison between General Crew and Screenings departments. I led orientations for the crew in 100 person increments and promptly attended to conflicts including cancellations, no shows and behavioral issues.

Jury Liason

I maintained the daily schedule of several high-profile jurors. I would accompany them daily to screenings and special events and communicated any changes to the Talent Relations and Travel departments. The biggest objective was to ensure that the Jurors saw all of the films in their category before they deliberated.

Production Assistant

I worked on location of the production reporting to the Assistant Director. My daily tasks were to distribute paperwork to crew and running errands for Coordinators. I also performed lock ups and “firewatched” (ensured that nothing interfered with takes or equipment).
