I was the lead, and sole Assistant Editor for the majority of the 8 months so I became responsible for a lot of tasks. Able to learn new duties quickly. Ingesting, organizing, onlining, as well as solving problems with the online editor were regular tasks.

All previously mentioned Assistant Editor responsibilities in addition to cutting/covering/scoring a few brides, and training multiple new (read: green) Assistant Editors who are now employees.

A credit I was given because of the editing help I provided when our pilot episode was changed from a half hour episode to an hour long special in the midnight hour. I assisted in cutting additional material to extend all brides as well as scoring.

Previously mentioned responsibilities plus syncing and multigrouping 5 camera shoots, consolidating Brides from multiple ISIS servers, uploading cuts to internal FTP, Discovery DMC, and BOX.com, cutting/covering/and scoring Snap Ins, cutting and scoring Wedding sequences at the end of each episode, assisting in teaching Interns in a "Shadowing" Program.

Knowledge of Avid, Ingesting/organizing new media (loading tapes and linking to AMA tapeless media), making screeners for logging, completing lower third passes, exporting cuts for network and internal use, creating interview stringouts, verbal and nonverbal reaction shot searching, uprezzing (tapes and tapeless), batch capturing offline sequences from previous seasons.

Organizing incoming media, organizing appearance/location releases, managing a team of interns to assist logging, assembling lower third documents, watching down footage for potential Broll, assembling all deliverables.
