The show had a great Co-Ep that was unable to finish the show due to scheduling, so I was honored to receive the call and consideration to take over. The responsibilities consist of overseeing the completion of this season in post production, while communicating with the field and the network to get the material needed to create a story that tracks. With 4 episodes in various stages left to lock there was much to be done. Network even decided to add on a special episode and changed the Finale to a 90 min episode a month before air - but we got it done.

Supervising a team of 8 producers from pre-production, through the field and throughout post in order to deliver a 10 episode house reality show -Creating schedules in the field, directing camera, tracking story, directing and tracking interviews (sometimes 3 simultaneously), stringing the Supertease and Cold Open for 1401, and helping the team meet their deadlines (helping string episodes/scenes).

This season was a bit of a change from format in that it became a VO driven show. Although it was a challenge to switch gears from the previous season's format the VO added an all knowing, 3rd person characteristic to each episode. With an immense amount of content it certainly served as a vehicle to move story forward without having to show an insane amount of footage we had for each day.

Produced 2 episodes in post production. I created tight episode string outs, wrote bite content ; including construction factoids and verbiage. I also wrote graphic descriptions for the editors and graphics team.

This was a ridiculous undertaking. Not knowing what a small company this was, I was responsible for Stringing, Scoring, Writing, EDITING, and completing three episodes of this show under unrealistic deadlines (i.e. having an RC done the same week hired).

On-set story, tracking story, writing interview questions, interviewing the talent, stringing out media (AVID), drafting bites and ADR, working with editors and executives all the way through to episode lock, addressing executive and network notes, and KICKING ASS.

Creating a hybrid between a competition type show and a docu-drama.

Produced 4 episodes of a 8 episode season; Helped to develop a new series; maintaining communication with the field; writing voice over, pick up bites, episode outlines; creating stringouts for TV and Web; tracking time, distance, and elevation for graphic use; worked cooperatively with multiple editors on concurrent episodes.

Strung out scenes for the pilot, which was later picked up for series.

Developing a new format for the Season 3 Reunion. Creating packages in order to introduce subject and conversational content during the course of the 2, 1 hour episodes of the special. Working with the editors to fine tune the packages in order to fit them within the desired running time.

You don't always get what you expected or what the field has written on the hot sheets, but you make it work. I created string outs for every episode. Assisted editors in creating and/or located necessary materials. Developed interview questions and sent them to the field.
