Ryan Powell

As a freelance editor, I use my editing experience and passion for sports to produce compelling feature packages and show segments for a variety of college football, hockey, basketball, and Colorado Rockies baseball shows, including Pre/Post-game shows, game intros and bumps, and The Club.

I directed, shot, and edited multiple online episodes as well as a one hour feature that had multiple airings on ESPN2. My role included planning shoot schedules, directing talent, shooting segments, and editing final pieces.

As a freelance editor, I have worked on a wide variety of projects including sports, outdoor, corporate, non-profit, and documentary programs. I have edited everything from promos and sizzle reels to hour-long documentaries and everything in-between.

I began working at RareSky immediately after graduating from college. At RareSky, I worked as a video editor, director of photography, writer, director, and producer. We worked on a variety of projects with clients such as ESPN, CH2M Hill, Ball, Raytheon, and Arrow Electronics.
