• Serve as a key contact for rights and clearance requests for the domestic businesses of the company, supporting the team and providing timely and accurate rights and clearance advice. • Advise on the exploitation of content on various digital media platforms and offerings, and in connection with editing, promotions, social media and other ad hoc projects. • Understand and interpret key terms in a range of programming and related third party content agreements in connection with resolving rights and clearance queries. • Research, review and interpret key provisions in programming agreements and input this information into rights management database for client review. • Perform data quality control for the content of the rights management database. • Assist with processing of production deliverables and communicating rights restrictions to global business community.

Supported Rights and Clearances section of Business and Legal Affairs by conducting research on emerging issues in communications and intellectual property law. Reviewed production agreements to ensure royalty terms were being met and interfaced with the accounting department to confirm proper payment was made to content producers.

Supported Lead Legal Analyst in drafting personal service agreements. Reviewed commission, co-production, acquisition, and development agreements. Reviewed and confirmed the validity of appearance, location, and licensed footage agreements associated with various National Geographic Channel productions.

Assisted in rights clearance, pre and post production, equipment management, and research.

Assist in all aspects of the production process, including equipment management, rights clearance issues, and pre and post production duties.

Took part in and assisted in various aspects of the production process, from research and pre-production to assistant editing and post-production. Worked on a majority of Half Yard Production projects that took place between 08/2006 and 08/2010.
