Research, clearance and research project management (including bringing on another researcher) on music, images and archival for a feature length documentary on indie rockers Brainiac. The film premiered at SXSW in 2019, played festivals around the U.S. pre-COVID, and is slated for U.K. premieres in 2020 or when it's safe. Distribution on Amazon Prime.

Brainiac was opening for Beck and being courted by the majors when singer/songwriter Tim Taylor was killed in an auto accident. Interviewees include: Steve Albini, Melissa Auf de Mar, Buzz Osbourne, Cedric Bixler, David Yow, Eli Janney, Fred Armisen, Jim O’Rourke, Gregg Foreman, John Schmersal, Juan Monasterio, Tyler Trent, Michelle Bodine, and Linda Taylor.

Research, scripting, location scouting, interviews and production for an educational, marketing and recruiting video for Genetic Counseling at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

Called back to transcribe/log for a second "Extreme Parenting" shoot. Used down time to edit my notes and prepare daily shoot reports of all dialogue that were sent to the field producer and network executive. Also pitched in on load in/load out, and helped our PA.

Researched, wrote scripts and booked guests for the Public Radio International show "Brain Brew," which was broadcast in 25 U.S. markets. The show's two hosts interviewed entrepreneurs, answered their business questions, in a witty yet highly informative style similar to NPR's "Car Talk."

Researched topics and guests for Public Radio International's Brain Brew Radio. Also performed archival and online research for the host's book project, "North Pole Tenderfoot."
