For the past 4 seasons, I have produced Digital/Online content for the TLC network/show website & apps for the docu-series "Welcome to Plathville". Built compelling storylines with each current season's footage & interviews, along with relevant archival footage from previous seasons to build more in-depth content featuring each of the show's cast members. I assembled tight string-outs using Avid Media Composer. Oversaw the editorial process along with Post Coordinator & Executive Producers. Worked closely with editors to address the various rounds of network notes for each cut of the 7-9 minute-long packages. For each season, utilizing the footage from the completed locked segments, we built an hour-long broadcast episode.
Summary
I'm fascinated with human nature: the seriousness of it, the humor in it, the heartfelt & inspiring stories that are continuously being brought to light daily. As a post Story Producer I love the creative & collaborative process of telling these stories.

Working in post, produced the 3rd & 6th episodes of the 1st season of TLC's "Welcome to Plathville. Watched episodes' raw footage & interviews to build tight string outs for editors using Avid Media Composer. Managed the work flow of multiple editors for each episode. Worked closely with editors to address rounds of internal & network notes in a timely manner.

Worked closely with producers & editors to build each of the season's 6 self-contained episodes, each focusing on the disappearance of a different young college-aged man in different cities across the U.S. with eerily similar crime scenes. Along with former law enforcement officials, scientists, friends, family members of each of the victims, the show's objective was to encourage local officials to re-open some these long-standing cold cases.
