Selected by Playtone's Gary Goetzman to be the Producer & Director for the premiere episode of “The Seventies” docu-series for CNN, in association with HBO. My episode, “Television Gets Real,” rated #1 in the 25-54 demographic; earned industry excellence nominations and awards. I researched, formatted each segment of documentary, directed series researchers on what to look for, created segment storylines, conducted interviews, scripted each segment of episode with edit notes/time codes for editor, directed editor on cuts for time. Intentionally wove fresh perspectives, emotional and resonate viewer takeaway into episode rather than create a typical decade/subject clip show.

Tribute Film Producer / Director. Field Produced and Directed shoots across the country on tribute subjects. Researched, booked, pre-interviewed, vetted subjects. Managed production field teams on location on quick turnarounds. Interviewed subjects on camera. Scripted each film with time codes and notes for editor. Collaborated with editor on cuts for time and upgrades on shots. Scripted introductions and coordinated filmed intros for each Tribute Film (with A-list celebrities and First Lady Michelle Obama)

Managed field production team (crew and talent) covering a national crisis while getting teargassed, shot frontline protest footage, secured and directed first television interview with Brown’s parents, discovered new eyewitness to shooting and negotiated her interview, and negotiated numerous other network exclusives. Scripted segments - directed editor on field tape.

Eleven Seasons. Producer of Shows, Specials, Campaigns - international and domestic: ideation, development, research, script writing - shows and taped pieces, segment producing, field producing/directing, expert and guest bookings, managing teams and crews, edit direction, collaborations with graphic department on aesthetics/special designs, collaborating with set/art department on sets, brand reputation. Earned 40-million weekly viewers, syndication in 215 U.S. markets, distribution to 150 countries. Raised tens of millions of dollars for nonprofits and NGOs.
