Wrote screenplay for a film currently in pre-production with River Valley Films.

For this shoot, I was in charge of one location, a remote fishing camp in northern Saskatchewan. I forged positive relationships with subjects and partners; found, envisioned and filmed stories; conducted interviews; led camera crew. I created quality content while being dependable, energetic, creative and easy to work with.

I took the concept for the film (a refugee from South Sudan going home to drill wells in his village) and realized that vision by assembling a production team, hiring a camera crew, writing a script and a shot list, and supervising the editing process.

Wrote the screenplay and contributed, as a producer, to the post-production/editing process.

I developed the concept, wrote the screenplay, and also served as second camera operator while also acting and producing. This was a tiny, microbudget feature that turned out really well and was challenging and inspiring to many people.
