As the senior producer in the digital department I operate in an urgent, timely and agile manner to produce best-in-class video content as it pertains to BET Networks original programming. I executive produced the first two digital scripted series for BET Digital. I Need a Rebel, which introduced audiences to the John Singleton scripted series Rebel and the 5 part horror series The Last One, Which won first place in the stand alone short form from a network or digital publisher category, at the 2018 Cynopsis Inaugural short form video festival. I Ideated, developed, produced and directed multiple digital creative content executions for The New Edition Story. Which to date has generated over 7 million views across all social platforms. I recently produced and directed similar content for The Bobby Brown Story that premiered in September of 2018. Leveraging BET’s fan base as our key market drivers, I am responsible for strategically building and creating compelling content that is shared through social media platforms and pushes viewers to linear. I generate new shows and format concepts along with budgets, while working collaboratively within the ecosystem of BET Networks and external production companies on behalf of original programming. I keep actively abreast of the entertainment marketplace and maintain a balance of hands-on support and team leadership. I ensure consistency and quality control throughout all content stages.
