Work with correspondents around the world reviewing script content and giving editorial approval for television and the web.

Oversaw all live content for distribution to CNN affiliate stations. This included determining what stories Newsource covered, coordinating crew logistics, booking satellite time and scheduling staff. This position required strong affiliate relations, and direct management of staff.

Produced a monthly half-hour documentary show called "Global Challenges." Duties included determining story ideas and themes for shows, coordinating with correspondents and crews around the world, field producing, writing, and overseeing the tape-editing of all content of the show.

Produced one and a half hours of news daily. Also produced live-shots for three back-to-back hour-long shows.

Researched, wrote, field and post-produced grant-funded documentaries for local and national distribution. Also produced various PSAs and promotional videos. Won top honors in the Telly, Communicator and Videographer awards. Also nominated for a New York State Emmy.

Oversaw the production of daily newscasts, managing staff, overseeing all on-air content, coordinating live on-location reports and interviews, and attending daily meetings with other CNN departments to discuss the day’s news. Worked with show producers to determine what stories would be in their shows, and what angles were important .
