As a technical assistant with NYFA I oversaw the safety and application of coursework for our students. I would run equipment for the teachers and ameliorate any road bumps we ran into during our day to day operations. I drove students in 15 passenger vans to and from shooting locations while adhering to a tight schedule. Due to some labor shifts, I eventually bolstered the editing department and supervised an editing period every week for our filmmaking students. On shooting days I would run through aquisition workflow with students and give them crash courses on their filmmaking equipment to best serve their projects.
