Booking guests/potential subjects for pilot. Cold calls, pre-interviews, Skype interviews. Social Media outreach using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LA Casting, Tumblr, Reddit and message boards. Editing casting videos/reels. Preparing one sheets for networks.

Researching and double sourcing all questions and materials for game play. Writing questions. Writing prize copy. Managing and coordinating prize giveaways for winners. Managing prize contracts and fulfilling broadcast requirements for all prizes given away.

Writing copy and producing promotional spots for air. Working with team of editors, graphic designers, audio, and coordinators to create and deliver spots for on air and stadium/event use. Working with Marketing Department to ensure cross-platform promotion. Working with Social Media manager to write slogans and provide content for Facebook, Twitter, and the Universal Sports Network website.

Working with various departments (Assignment Desk, Production, Rights/Clearances) to determine clearances for live digital simulcast “Watch ESPN” using league and sport contracts. Expanding consumer and professional knowledge of “Watch ESPN” using Facebook, Twitter, word of mouth and directing people to information available on the ESPN website.

Researching and obtaining clips and stills from events leading up to and during the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. Choosing clips for on-air use. Researching athletes for profile pieces for news updates and post Olympic documentary. Finding notable stories or images from athletes using their Twitter, Facebook or blogs and then reaching out to obtain rights.

National outreach, using Facebook, Blogger,Wordpress, and CBS “Message Board” system. Making cold calls. Researching experts for related segments/shows. Pre-interviewing and booking guests for shows. Helping to set up field shoots/travel with Dr. Phil Segment producers, guests and locations.
