Job Description

The Technical Operations, Engineering, and Cyber Security within the *** U Operations and Technology division have an operating cash flow of $800M+ ($1.1B FCF). The group functions as a global shared ser *** within *** Universal, performing critical functions including *** , Broadcast and Studio Operations and production, Content Supply Chain, Information Technology and Engineering, and Cyber Security. The Senior Analyst will play an integral role on the Tech Operations, Engineering, Cyber (TOEC) FP&A team, which oversees the consolidation and analysis of financial information (OCF and Capital) across multiple lines of business. Key Responsibilities

Job Description

As part of the *** U DM&I team, this Sr. Analyst will be responsible for developing data framework and automating data transformation and dataflows across the data science platform. Our data science platform serves as a basis for advanced analytics including, but not limited to audience predictive models, real time data analysis, *** mix models, campaign optimization, data assessments for 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data, and audience development (sizing, planning, profiling). This role reports directly into the Director of Data Science. Overview and Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various aspects of capital projects, fixed assets, equipment and real estate leases and performing other accounting duties as assigned. This will be on a hybrid schedule.

What's the role?

We are currently seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Electronic Trading Solutions Finance team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to deliver a unique blend of financial and operational analysis, financial modeling, reporting and senior management support in a fast-paced and cutting-edge business. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to work and handle sensitive company information with discretion.

We'll trust you to:

Lead the financial reporting, analysis, and planning process as part of the Electronic Trading Solutions Finance team and manage FP&A requirements in adherence to corporate requirements and processes
Create and develop detailed financial models and analysis to support various strategic initiatives including market analysis, product launches, and long-term financial growth plans
Assist in the preparation of the financial forecasts/targets for the annual operating plans along with monitoring historical revenue and expense trends
Use data analysis to actively identify new and innovative ways to track business performance, and suggest additional ideas for drivers and removing obstacles in our delivery
Provide executive level communication (both written and oral) to business heads and product managers on the financial results, performance vs. targets, and insights on key variances on a regular basis, including but not limited to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Client Profitability metrics
Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes, and propose improvements to streamline the collection, use, and presentation of data
Oversee resource management, resource allocations and resource related reporting and analysis
Participate in special project requests directly from the Management Committee and Senior Management
Liaise with Controllers and other departments to ensure accurate and timely production and distribution of financial statements
Identify opportunities to drive efficiency in internal processes

You'll need to have:

4+ years experience in financial analysis
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related fields
Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
The ability to confidently work with data, identifying business trends and be able to create insightful analysis
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks are required
Flexibility to work in a fast-moving environment
Superior Microsoft Excel skills
Team player with ability to deal with changing priorities

We'd love to see:

Experience in financial services or a financial data provider industry a strong plus
Flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment
High curiosity level and desire to learn
Familiarity with the *** terminal is useful, but not required
Experience with Enterprise software applications e.g. SAP
Experience with data applications e.g. Alteryx or Qlik

Your New Role: The Financial Analyst, Budget & Vendor Contract Budget is an integral part of budget stewardship in achieving the Global Information and Content Security (GICS) mission. This role is responsible for day-to-day management of the GICS budget, and collaborates with GICS leaders and stakeholders, as well as Finance, Procurement & Accounting (FP&A) partners to ensure financial reporting and purchasing processes are executed consistently.

Your Role Accountabilities:

Budget and Vendor Contract Management

• Work with GICS and leaders and Finance partners to prepare the annual

budget, and to resolve budget adjustments needed during the year

• Maintain accurate reporting of planned budget and actual variances for the

entire GICS team, and advise on adjustments needed

• Ensure unbudgeted costs are reviewed and approved prior to commitment

• Maintain an accurate and complete inventory and repository of all GICS third

party engagements, including renewal and license-related tracking

• Facilitate onboarding of GICS external resources as required

• Meet all Finance, Procurement & Accounting processes and requirements

related to budget reporting & forecasting and vendor engagements

• Support timely acquisition or renewal of vendor services as needed

• Challenge tool needs & renewals based on success criteria

• Create periodic and ad hoc executive reports of budget and/or vendor contract

Qualifications & Experiences:

• 5+ years experience and strong background in budget management,

accounting, and/or project management

• Financial management and Return on Investment analytical skills

• Strong understanding of budgets

• Attention to detail, and ability to identify & resolve or escalate errors and

incongruities

• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including pivot

tables
