Looking for a junior / early in their career AE or PA who is proficient in AVID.

Looking for an assistant editor that can help with organization of projects, Synchronizing Multicam Sequences, pulling selects, transcribing/subtitling and maybe even taking a whack at the rough cuts of various corporate videos. This is probably best for someone looking to get their feet wet and to learn the logistics of a project.

Projects will use blackmagic cloud proxy workflow. So there will no need to send hard drives or anything.

May also work on daily rate and project rates also.

- Must be proficient in Avid Media composer
- Media Management: Strong understanding of media ingestion, logging, transcoding, syncing audio and video, and organizing footage in digital asset management systems.
-Rough assembly as needed
- Knowledge of After Effects (most likely will be editing text templates)

- Install Fonts on editors' machines
- Export backup daily edits
- Backup final masters

Editor needed for a digital game show series.

Although distributed through YouTube, this series is formatted similarly to the production value of a television show. In other words, the edit lift is quite heavy compared to what you would think an "average" YouTube edit would be. These edits are comprised of several camera angles, up to nine microphones, and multiple scenes.

The editor needs to be comfortable building story, editing with comedic timing, and dialogue editing. 
The best candidate for this role would be an editor who has experience in editing game shows, reality shows, or quick-paced comedy shows with lots of angles and audio tracks to manage. 



Editor may work remotely but must adhere to standard Pacific Standard Time working hours.

We are seeking a Post Production Technical & Creative Assistant. The candidate must be highly technical with knowledge of digital tools. We work with Avid Media Composer so we need someone with basic knowledge on how Avid works. The role requires someone flexible who can evolve with the project as the project expands during post development. The ideal candidate will also be creative with a strong desire to learn and grow.

This part-time position starts in early June and runs through approximately 6 months with the possibility of extension. Must be based in NYC and able to work in person. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include

-Filtering footage for translation, exporting, tracking what is sent to the translation team, managing a shared translation calendar.
-Avid Project Management: creating media folders / bins
-Backing up Media: Moving data between hard drives and cloud back ups, etc.
-Manage the Media Manager log of the breakdown of all media
-Manage the project scene log. Add tag words or update with new shoot days. Breakdown and log scenes.
-Help locate and log specific scenes, shots, characters and moments in the footage.
-Add tags to the log, get scenes on and off my miro white board, print scene boards, change naming conventions,
print the scenes, locate footage, etc.
-Work with the director and editors to locate footage, create B-roll sequences and gather footage on specific topics
inside the Avid Project
-Sit in on meetings with director and editors, track story beats and arcs and help coordinate everyone around a miro
board.
-Purchase and install software, manage software licenses, troubleshoot basic technical problems
-Maintaining social media pages
-Run office errands

Candidates must speak fluent Ukrainian and be able to translate and edit videos involving Ukrainian-speaking talent. CNE Video Editors bring compelling, culturally-impactful, entertaining, and diverse creative content to life every day. Candidates should be natural storytellers and creatives first, interested in a role that spans a wide array of projects and styles, and able to collaborate with many creative partners in Production and Programming. Primary Responsibilities:

Edit a variety of complex digital video concepts across Condé Nast’s portfolio of brands, primarily for YouTube in both English and Korean
Collaborate with Directors and Producers to meet the creative and technical goals of each unique project
Able to quickly and independently cut to the essence of a story, and create compelling and entertaining narratives from diverse raw materials
Maintain active lines of communication with Post Production Supervisors, Directors, and Producers throughout the course of a project; be vocal when it comes to a project’s scheduling, creative, and technical needs, and flag concerns or delays promptly
Time management skills and flexibility are key to successfully stay on schedule in CNE’s fast-paced, high-volume post-production environment.
For any assigned project, complete motion graphics, color correction, sound design and mix, deliverables, and cue sheets
Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Fluency in Ukrainian required
Minimum 4 years editing experience, primarily in digital video content; past work in a fast-paced, high-volume studio, media company, or post facility environment preferred
Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere, with advanced capabilities with After Effects strongly preferred
Strong finishing skills; able to handle color correction, sound mix, motion graphics, and possess the capability to deliver high quality design and stylized content
Strong understanding of editing principles and current digital trends, with an ability to tell a cohesive story
Must have impeccable organizational and communication skills
Must be able to self-organize priorities to ensure that deadlines are met, adhering to best practices set forth by senior management
Ability to problem solve and work through issues and produce under the pressure of deadlines

Non-Scripted Production Company is looking for an experienced AVID (Post) Associate Producer with a great sense of story and experience working on True Crime Shows.

Candidate must have a strong understanding of character, stakes, action and tension, along with the ability to tell a compelling story.

Candidate should be proficient in Avid and great with story; extremely organized; have the ability to work independently on a tight schedule and also be a team player.

Job responsibilities will include: string outs, research and other duties as needed while working closely with the Producers and EP to create compelling television.

-Manage requests from story producers and editors to source stock clips from popular stock houses including Pond 5, Getty, etc.
-Track all 3rd party materials being imported into the system
-Track budget for any acquired footage that may be included in cut
-Work with Post-Production Supervisor and Producers to ensure creative needs related to AQ are met and remain within budget by the time of lock
-Watch down each cut (RC1, RC2, FC, LC) in step with EDL and make sure all releases have been obtained
-Research, distribute, and collect releases as necessary for people, locations, materials that the field production team was unable to obtain
-Work with Post Production Supervisor, Line Producer, and Legal to determine any clearance issues that may need to be released, blurred, or removed

POST-PRODUCTION

Looking for two remote Avid editors for a comedy series starting in June. Must have comedy credits and experience working in TV, please do not apply if you don't have this experience.

We are looking to add an in house Colorist that will be available during online / color for various shows.

We are building out a Color bay and will need someone to fill it when we have shows in the pipeline. Currently the first show will be late July early August

Coloring shows for various Networks (Netflix, Discovery, Hallmark) that may require HDR / UHD workflows.

We are looking for a colorist for a 20 minute short documentary. The footage is 4k RAW shot on RED Komodo and Sony Fs7's cut in Resolve. This is a 2-3 day job with possible additional days but this has a hard delivery date so it won't extend more than one extra day. The finishing here will be happening right up against the delivery deadline so we will need quick turnarounds for reviews.
