Busy Post Production studio is looking for an experienced assistant editor for a docufollow series. Tasks include organizing and ingesting footage, grouping and syncing footage with audio, and prepping sequences for edit. This position is for a swing shift and candidates could be working nights and weekends.

Our pace is fast and furious, so we're looking for experienced AEs who can work quickly and keep track of multiple tasks. Experience with Avid and a willingness to work in office full time are a must!

Once hired, you will submit timecards or invoices and be paid weekly.

I am looking for someone that is easy to work with, flexible, and very creative. You will be working with the director on this edit, and we want someone that has a lot of creativity. This documentary is about an internationally known artist and the making of his hit song and music video. Please include a cover letter as to why you think you're the right person for this job.

We're located in Los Angeles, CA and we'd like to find someone local. But we are open to someone doing the job remotely as well.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Work closely with the news reporting staff and help oversee daily news/content gathering efforts to provide timely, high quality news coverage of broadcasts.
