Position: Camera Operator (Will hire lead and assistant camera operator)

About the Tournament:
Inviting an experienced camera operator for live rugby matches. The role involves filming rugby action using a zoom lens on sticks, gimbal, or monopod, according to your expertise.

Matches are 14 minutes long, with 7-minute halves. Expect to film 3 matches per day for a total of 42 minutes of game time. The schedule is dynamic, with games spread throughout the day - typically one in the morning, early afternoon, and later afternoon.

Job Description & Responsibilities:
As a camera operator, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage of rugby matches, ensuring dynamic and engaging content for our viewers. The role demands a keen eye for detail, the ability to follow fast-paced sports action, and a solid understanding of sports filming techniques.

The two types of acceptable styles that you can use on this project:
1. Lead Cam A Operator: Filming with a zoom lens on sticks, preferably up to 200 or 300mm to follow the player with the ball
2. Assistant Cam B Operator: Filming using a gimbal or monopod following as closely as possible to the action.

Responsibilities:
Operate camera equipment to capture high-quality footage of rugby matches.
Work closely with the producer and client to achieve desired visual outcomes.
Ensure all equipment is set up and tested before each game.
Be flexible and ready to move between different field locations as required.
Capture the energy and excitement of the game, focusing on key moments, plays, and player reactions.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a camera operator, preferably with sports events.
Strong understanding of sports filming techniques and ability to capture fast-moving action.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to move quickly and adapt to schedule changes.

Run and gun reality TV show for MTV. Would be for C-Cam position. Able to follow story live and fluid cast movements.
Filming on shoulder and tripod.

We are conducting an interview with (3-4) subjects, both sit down/standup interviews as well as walk and talk interviews. Those who apply should have experience with Sony ecosystem and running an FX3 and/or an FX6. We will be shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada whoever is chosen will have to be a local. There will be at least (3) people at one time on camera, possibly the forth person would also be on camera but still TBD.

Non union reality show seeking local cam op for a one day shoot in the Boynton Beach area. Gear will be provided by our DP, we are just looking for a local op to join us for a fun shoot!

Experience with reality, non union shows required. Filming two talent intv and driving.

Looking for someone to shoot on a Sony FX6 at a race at Laguna Seca. On 5/10.


A lot of B-Roll type footage at a racetrack. It's a very run and gun style. We are a documentary series shooting the Mazda Cup Race.

It will be an early call time, and I know you may not live close by so we can provide a hotel room for you the night before if necessary.

I am looking for a camera operator for a small documentary shoot in Albany, NY shooting on May 9. We will be filming 3-4 interviews and likely one person will be on camera for each interview. This will take place in various spots within the same location. This is the very last day of filming for this documentary so we have a streamlined process. It should be a relatively easy going day.

We are filming on the Red Komodo and Red Raptor. If you own one of those cameras, that is a huge plus. Rate negotiable for camera package

Must be local to Albany, NY or willing to work as a local. We cannot accommodate any travel, hotels, per diem, mileage, etc.

The Camera Operator is responsible for live capture of on-field play. They may be responsible for camera, tripod, elevation set up. They receive instruction from Production Coordinators and Video Controllers on when and how to frame the action. They must be well organized, extremely punctual, and able to communicate well with supervisors and crew both in person and digitally.

All games at this event will be recorded locally and live streamed for parents, fans, and coaches.
