We are looking for editors who have documentary experience who can also edit emotional and impactful 30 second "stories" from interviews with real people. The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with many hours of footage but can also edit with the speed of an editor with promo experience. Skills in after effects will also be extremely helpful.

Editor for Indie Horror Feature; Run time 75-80 minutes; ideal candidate has experience with horror films and feature films; ideal candidate has worked on major projects for large studios / streaming (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) or similar; experience with pseudo-scripted material preferred; candidate should make this their primary project; ideal candidate has strong sense of humor and commitment to the art of film and film + cinema knowledge; ideal candidate is hungry to make top notch projects and continue ascending in their career; candidate should provide reel and 2 work references.

Team will coordinate with Editor to bring on AE for media management as needed. If Editor has own preferred process for this, team is open to discussion. Must have own cutting station. Can be performed Remotely.

Avid or Premier OK; open to discussion. NYC or LA preferred.

Looking for an experienced Editor/DP to shoot & edit on Wednesday, May 22nd, and Thursday, May 23rd in Detroit, MI, for a live TV broadcast combat sports production.

Must be able to both shoot and edit in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable with a fluid schedule.

Job Description
Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.

These originals will be expected to capture viewers' attention through their sharp perspective, approachable style, and clear relevance to the biggest investments and financial questions investors face. You will help spearhead execution across a range of programming formats.

You will work closely with reporters, studio, graphics, and more to elevate brand’s feature video stories. You will be expected to be a strong collaborator and execute an efficient video production process to ensure clean, final delivery. Attention to detail, clear communication and being mindful of deadlines are a must. Strong candidates will be comfortable balancing a variety of projects and deadlines while working with different producers.

Responsibilities:
- Edit original features using Adobe Premiere, for audiences across our daily live distribution onsite and off, YouTube, and major social platforms.
- Help conceptualize, manage and execute visually dynamic, original edits in a deadline-driven environment.
- Stay up-to-date on the workings of company systems including proprietary infrastructures, working with the post support team to source and acquire assets as necessary for projects.
- Communicate in an appropriate and timely manner to relay issues and concerns about individual edits, technical issues and deadlines.
- Regularly update media and project tracking documents as necessary.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues with the IT team and post management.
- Develop and grow audience engagement across major platforms and help editorial leads establish and maintain OKR goals
- Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience editing narrative features for onsite and OTT.
- An exceptional storyteller with a proven track record of editing high-quality, original field production with the audience and platform in mind.
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere.
- Must be experienced working with graphic templates and MGRTS within premiere. AfterEffects experience preferred.
- Comfortable sourcing pictures, video, soundbite from subscriptions services, including AP, Reuters, Getty, etc.
- Editor must thrive under deadline pressure and be able to juggle multiple tasks and assignments.
- Clear communicator, both written and verbal.
- Be able to work within and conform to established organizational systems and work/troubleshoot in team environments.
- Quality control of all video assets sent to the control room and published to our site and OTT platforms.

Line Cut - Please have working knowledge of OBS, Vmix or Tri-Caster.

Video Edit:
- Able to cut a full 45min show
- Meet tight deadlines, 3 hour turnaround delivery to Network and platforms
- QC edit: swipes, bugs, ads, elements, intro, end cards
- Edit a show with up to 20 elements
- Edit a panel: 1:1 box, 2-3 box, 3 box, 4 box
- Cut breakouts, shorts per episode
- Cut 5 full shows per week

Audio Mix- able to do podcast mix with remote footage and make a broadcast quality audio mp3

If ONLY editing $1000 a week if able to do a full sound design $1500 a week.

Looking to hire a creative and intuitive Los Angeles editor with an eye for detail and actor performance for an indie thriller/action film. Aprox 90 min.

Movie has a few Jason Bourne fights in it and needs a clean steady smooth flow like a David Fincher film. Work closely with director. Premiere or Avid but not looking for Final Cut.
