We are looking for a Video Production Intern to join our Premiere Video team. Our team produces high quality video series for social media, including short documentaries and animated explainer videos.

We are looking for someone with strong research skills, an interest in social video, a knack for writing snappy social media copy and some basic video editing skills (or an interest in learning them). The ideal candidate is active on social media, highly motivated, a critical thinker, and passionate about stories related to social justice, immigration, and environmental issues.

Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

- Story research
- Reaching out to contacts for potential story leads
- Writing social copy
- Post-production support
- Transcriptions and subtitling
- English-Spanish translation, ideally (though not an absolute requirement)
- Some knowledge of Adobe Premiere ideal but not required

Additional Information

Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, California area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Job Summary:

We are looking for an intern to support our project & design management teams.

A Project Management Intern partners with WDI Project Management to assist in the delivery of the project within the scope, schedule, budget, and design quality requirements. The intern will support the logistics and supply chain side of the project & design management team by managing & tracking the furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE). The intern will be responsible for producing a variety of reports that communicate the status relative to defined plans, raising critical issues, and supporting the resolution of commercial issues that may arise. Good communication and collaboration skills are essential to this role.

This role will be fully on-site in Wismar, Germany.

Responsibilities:

Obtain a thorough understanding of project plans and standards, then support monitoring of progress to ensure compliance or identify any variations to plan.
Manage large amounts of data regarding the furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE)
Contribute to a collaborative work environment and effective communications that support timely decisions.
Partner with all departments and stakeholders to ensure on-going alignment and integration of plans for successful project delivery.

Identify any variations from approved project scope and process through change management system
Identify critical issues and support resolution
Reporting as required to support Project Manager

Specific Opportunities:

Key support person ("right hand person") for the WDI Project Manager through the duration of internship
Support problem solving by data collection, summarization and integration of parties
Participate in project meetings
Identify, monitor, and support mitigation of risks and realization of opportunities
Interface with outside design consultants and ship yard related to scope of work progress
Preparation of content for Project Manager and executive updates
Grow existing personal engagement, collaboration and leadership skills

Basic Qualifications:

Demonstration of management and leadership skills
Experience with logistics and supply chain management
Commitment to collaboration and positive working environment
Problem solving and understanding of team dynamics
Curious, learns quickly, self-starter, and good intuition
Good summarization and communication skills
MS Office fluent, including visual presentation and learns other software packages quickly

Preferred Qualifications:

Academic or professional participation in projects or initiatives that developed or required leadership presence

Required Education:

Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher, or graduated within the past 12 months, from an accredited college/university, earning a degree majoring in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Design, Engineering, Architecture, or similar technical degree.
